Description: Please join us for a presentation by Leslie McRae, a Yukon lawyer and Registrar of Land Titles. Leslie will take you through condominium corporation governance now that the new Condo Act, 2015 is in effect. Topics will include information on reserve funds; insurance requirements, condo certificates, and what is required in terms of ongoing filing requirements by the Land Titles Office – both annually and when changes occur.
Presenter: Leslie McRae is a long-time Yukoner, having arrived in Whitehorse in October, 1980. Leslie was called to the bar in Yukon and British Columbia in 2000. Since then, she has practised residential and commercial real estate including lending and borrowing, and had a long career at NorthwesTel serving as their General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Privacy Officer. Leslie was appointed Registrar of Land Titles in January 2021.
