The Indigenous Bar Association (IBA) is hosting its 33rd annual conference online on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23. This year’s theme is “Sharing Experiences towards a Shared Future.” Click here to register.
Speakers and panels will touch on topics like the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, transboundary Indigenous rights (post-Desautel decision), and the connection between Indigenous languages and Indigenous laws.
Anyone who registers for the October 22-23 conference will also get complimentary access to a continuing professional development day that the IBA is planning for November 12.
