The 2024 Bench and Bar Seminar will take place on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre.

Our speakers are (titles to be confirmed):

Justice Michelle O’Bonsawin (SCC) – Fireside Chat;
Doron Gold – Mental Health Challenges faced by Lawyers;
Justice David Stratas (FCA) – Judicial review after Vavilov: principles, procedure, and practicalities;
Justice Michal Fairburn (ACJ, ONCA) and Jennifer Schulz (Associate Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba) – Challenges of upholding the Rule of Law.

We have been approved by the Law Society of Yukon for 4 hours of Continuing Professional Development.
