The Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association (CLIA) is pleased to be partnering with the Law Society of Saskatchewan to bring the CLIA Peace of Mind Virtual Conference to members in our Subscriber jurisdictions. This free half-day virtual conference will provide sessions to help improve your practice and avoid errors.
Wellness Issues Facing the Profession: Erin Durant, founder of Durant Barristers and author of “It Burned Me All Down”, a book about her experience with mental illness as a practising lawyer.
Avoiding Cyber Scams: Greg Markell, President of Ridge Canada, provider of CLIA mandatory cyber insurance.
Real Life Errors and Omissions Claims: Panel discussing real anonymized claims and providing tips to avoid them.
Note that registration will be limited to 1000 registrants, but the sessions will be recorded. This CPD event is approved for 4 hours of CPD credits and may be applied towards the mandatory 12 hour Continuing Professional Development requirement in Yukon.
