The Dene Keh Justice (Our People’s Way) program is a holistic, community-based form of alternative justice that incorporates Kaska tradition and values and restores harmony within the community in the Liard First Nation’s way.

The approach used by the Dene Keh Justice program has garnered interest from criminal courts across the country. Please join Daniel Dick (LFN Justice Worker) and Kelly Allen (Manager, Justice Wellness Centre) for a presentation about Dene Keh Justice, including its program model, challenges, and successes.

This CPD has been approved for 1 hour and 15 minutes by the Law Society of British Columbia and may be applied towards the mandatory 12 hour Continuing Professional Development requirement in both BC and Yukon.
