Bios:
Elizabeth Reid of Fasken in Vancouver, B.C., has extensive experience in both the solicitor and advocacy aspects of the Labour, Employment and human rights practice. With significant technical experience, she advises clients on the complex employment and human rights laws that impact employer-employee relationships. She provides counsel on day-to-day concerns and compliance issues, working collaboratively with clients to meet their needs. She also represents clients at all levels of court in British Columbia as well as in front of provincial and federal human rights and employment standards tribunals.
Jocelyn Barrett joined Lamarche, Lang & Barrett in 2017 and practices in the areas of corporate/commercial, employment and real estate law. She moved from Kuujjuaq, Quebec to Whitehorse in 2007 to work for the local office of a large law firm. Jocelyn is a member of the Law Society of Yukon and the Barreau du Quebec. She graduated from McGill University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Common Law and a Bachelor of Civil Law.
This CPD has been approved for 1.5 hours by the Law Society of British Columbia and may be applied towards the mandatory 12 hour Continuing Professional Development requirement in both BC and Yukon.
